Bill Schneeberger has been in the wine distribution business for over twenty years, selling some of the nation’s top brands. Cause marketing caught his attention in the fine wine business when many wine makers and sellers began marketing their brands with breast cancer’s pink ribbon. Bill thought he might do the same until he read Life is a Blessing, A Biography of Jerome Lejeune. Lejeune was a highly regarded geneticist who discovered the causes of symptoms such as Down’s Syndrome. Dr. Lejeune’s strong stand on pro-life issues, Bill’s deep faith and love for God’s tiniest children, the unborn, led Bill to join “Do No Harm: The Coalition of Americans for Research Ethics” (www.stemcellresearch.org.) After learning of the plight of frozen embryos who would likely be used for Embryonic Stem Cell Research, Bill discovered the life-saving and life-giving benefits of Adult Stem Cell Research (ASCR.) It convinced him to combine his love for God and His defenseless children with a passion for great wine and create BOGO Wines™, specifically to promote the benefits of ASCR.

A native of the Cleveland area, Bill has been a member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church in South Euchlid, Ohio for 48 years. As a daily communicant, he is devoted to the Two Hearts - the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Bill is a member of the Apostle of the Two Hearts, Apostle of the Holy Spirit, Third Degree Knights of Columbus, board member of Hail Holy Queen Communications, a member of the Cleveland Chapter of Legatus, and an EMHC for his parish. He and his wife Dawn have two sons and will celebrate their 28th anniversary this year.
